The beginnings

Toni Lineros and Isabel Verdaguer have always worked raising pigs. In fact, they met each other working on a pig farm. Of course, that was 29 years ago, and now they've set up their own family business that's grown over the years. Their main activity has always been raising and selling pork, a sector that's certainly had its ups and downs.

Services related to rural tourism

Toni and Isabel are born fighters and entrepreneurs, and in rural tourism they saw a great opportunity to expand their activity. In 2002, they created Serveis Turístics Les Cabanyes, which expanded on pork production and offered rural tourism services in the La Pradella estate, a property belonging to their family in the village of Sant Pere de Torelló (Osona). Enterprising growth

In 2012, the sector was undergoing a slump. In this climate, they decided to make a push for growth, and they acquired and renovated new facilities to improve competitiveness and comply with new animal welfare standards.

Ca l'Ona: born to go wholesale

In September 2017, Ca l’Ona began activity with its cutting and production room, created especially to sell pork products wholesale.
